The soundtrack of Casino Royale (2006) is one of the most well-crafted in the Bond series. “Death of Vesper” stands out as a highlight — restrained, melancholic, yet full of meaning. The decision not to play the classic Bond theme during the film was pure genius: throughout the story, he’s not yet the 007 we know. Only after losing Vesper and shutting down emotionally does that theme make sense. When we finally hear it at the end, there’s no turning back — he has become the assassin 007.

The concert suites on the second disc (tracks 16, 17 and 18) are a great addition to this album. They collect into one single track various shorter pieces that appeared during the movie, but I think I can also hear some parts that weren't in the movie at all. My favorite is Dobby the House Elf suite.
This soundtrack was created as part of Shadows of the Empire multimedia project (there was also one novel, comic books, a game and some toys). It is so incredible that it could even work as a score for a movie, if they ever decided to make one associated with this era (between Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi).
Морская полиция: Cпецотдел / NCIS - Volume 1 - The Official TV Soundtrack
What is interesting about how this show's soundtrack was made is that all of its tracks were not previously released anywhere else. Some tracks even inspired a few of the storylines. It is a great selection of music :)
